Today I am participating in the #SewPINK Blog Hop.

I chose to focus on Childhood Cancer (also known as pediatric cancer), which can affect children from birth to 14.  Nine of the most common childhood cancers are listed on the American Cancer Society website.

The impact that a diagnosis of cancer (childhood or other) can have on families can be immense. I can only imagine what help and support are needed and appreciated, and the American Cancer Society can assist families in accessing resources, support, and services.

Today I’m showing the Stash and Dash Foldover Organizer pattern, which I made using my Fabric Wonder Weaving technique for the outside of the organizer.

I made it using fabric in the gold ribbon color, representing Childhood Cancer. I thought this might be something that could be packed and ready to go for any busy parent or child, for that matter. The 3 compartments could hold small supplies, pencils, hand wipes, or markers. The outer see-through pocket can hold a thin paper pad or a list of tasks.
