Recoloring a Quilt Design

TODAY, Island Batik fabrics is releasing FUSION, the new fabric line for Swan Amity. The colors are gorgeous, and the textures are fun.

Fellow pattern designers have re-colored one of their patterns using FUSION. I’m showing the digital recoloring of my Cabin Leaves Table Runner using this new fabric line! You can see all the pattern recolorings through Swan’s link @swanamity on IG.

My original “Cabin Leaves Table Runner” was designed in 2015. I was an Island Batik Brand Ambassador and used an available collection of Island Batik fabrics.

Here are two recolorings I made using the FUSION line. They are beautiful in this fabric collection. The darker batik color on the tips of the leaves makes the quilt pop!
