Project Quilting Challenge #1 Completed

Yellow-Grey-Pantone-Quilt

I took on the challenge of sewing a quilt for Project Quilt Challenge #1 presented this week on the Persimon Dreams Blog.

This week’s challenge is based on the Pantone color for this year. There are two colors this year – I will call them gray and yellow. We were to make a quilted item within a week to be entered for prizes. The specific rules can be found in the blog post linked above.

I had colors that would work for the challenge and began with the idea of a small, improvisational quilt. I like geometric shapes and came up with the quilt I call:  “Let Dreams Break Through Hurdles” and measures 12″ W x 14″ L.

I thought this was a good title as I begin this year of 2021 with a planner, ideas for new quilt patterns, and a  “can-do” attitude! I succeeded in completing the challenge on time and linking it to the Persimon Dreams Blog.

Thank you for visiting. Watch for my up-coming free Valentine project I will be posting in about a week.
