Ohio Star Remix

This month I’ll be playing with the Ohio Star Quilt block looking for a new construction perspective as I join with the other Quilt Block Remix Designers. Have you ever spiced up this block with some extra pieces, or maybe the reduction of pieces?

I pulled a purple color card from my hat and found the fabrics below in my purple stash. I added white to the mix. I’m not sure that I will use all of them, but I know I tend to make more blocks than I actually use in a project.

I want to do something interesting and perhaps unusual with the star points in this block. Visit next Monday as I post more of my block  explorations.
