Cookbook Quilt Block

Do you have a love of books, or collect books? Have you ever thought of sewing a book-themed quilt? This month, “BOOKS” is the theme of the free Quilt Block Mania designers’ blocks!

I thought of the word “gastronomy” while pondering what block to design. I wasn’t exactly sure of the definition of the word. The dictionary defines it as “the practice or art of choosing, cooking, and eating good food.” So I titled this book: EAT.

It’s a foundation paper-pieced block and I wanted to make it fairly simple to construct. I think a confident beginner can tackle it.

Thank you for visiting. Please post a comment on the colors you’d use for the block as I always like to hear how others envision the quilt blocks.
