An Easy Sew Finish for the Blog Hop

A while back, Carla from Creatin’ in the Sticks announced her upcoming blog hops. I participate when my schedule looks available. The Orange You Glad blog hop was it! I thought it sounded fun and it had me thinking of fall weather and changing colors – one being orange!

Fall is probably my time of year in Michigan. The weather cools, the leaves of plants and trees change to beautiful colors, and the harvest of fresh fruits and vegetables is amazing!

In choosing a project for this blog hop, I went to my box of unfinished items. What I found was a block made by a friend’s mother. It was shades of orange, but was 8-sided! I added corner triangles, the quilting, and a binding. It is a lovely little table topper for the season.

Here is today’s list of participants. I hope you enjoy the blog hop and see many great projects!
