A to Z Quilt Block Challenge Pattern

Hello,

I’ve signed up along with other pattern designers to help Lauren, of  Palm Creations with her website project. Her “Books and Blocks Club” members are reading books that begin with each letter of the alphabet. When a book is completed, they sew a 6.5″ x 6.5″ quilt block representing that letter of the alphabet.

It sounds like a fun way to chart one’s reading. And a fun way to make a quilted project!

I’ve written free instructions for a simple Zig-Zag Quilt Block. I’m offering this free to anyone visiting my blog.

While searching for a Zig-Zag block online, I found many variations and construction methods. You may find a different method, too.

My block pattern is free for anyone who is visiting my blog.  I think the “Books and Blocks Club” members will enjoy sewing it.

Tomorrow starts the July FREE Quilt Block Mania month. And the theme is BOOKS! Find the Blog Post HERE.

If you’re visiting for the “Books and Blocks Club” A to Z blocks, you may find some great quilt block patterns to add to your collection.

And Quilt Block Mania visitors, will find 2 blocks free from Patchwork Breeze this week.

Either way, “You all come back, now!”

Please leave a comment, I’d enjoy hearing about the colors you used or how you will use it in a project.
